Move in begins 6pm – 9pm Thursday April 27. When you arrive at the Royal Exhibition Building Carlton via the Nicholson St entrance, please head straight to the Information Office to collect your wristbands for the weekend.
All exhibitors and their crew must wear both their lanyard and their wristband at all times for identification purposes. This is the only way you can get in the door. If you forget or lose your wristband etc you will need to purchase a ticket to enter.
Crew wristbands are NOT for clients. All clients getting tattooed must hold a ticket to the festival. Any artists or exhibitors seen handing out wristbands or lanyards to clients will be forced to pay for a ticket for that person and face a potential ban from the event.
Please note, during BUMP IN & BUMP OUT, Children are not permitted to enter the venue, and all people entering MUST wear closed toe shoes (no thongs, sandles, high heels etc).

All tattoo artists will have access to communal back of house areas with hot and cold sinks, sanitiser and medical waste bins. Please only put contaminated waste in the yellow medical waste bins. The only bin bags permitted in these bins must be yellow – you can grab more from the Info Office if you run out. You are supplied with a bucket and yellow bin bags for contaminated waste for your stand. DO NOT PUT GENERAL WASTE IN THIS BUCKET BIN.
Please do not put yellow bags in general waste bins, as the cleaners will assume this is contaminated. Put all GENERAL WASTE in the GENERAL WASTE BIN in the back of house area.
We will do regular checks but if there are any issues back of house, notify the Info Office.
All electrical equipment and power leads must be tested and tagged prior to use. As part of your stand package, electrical engineers will be on site to test equipment as required. If your equipment does not have a tag on it, they will be on site from 7.30 -9.30am Friday morning to perform tests. If an electrician has not yet visited your stand, please bring ALL electrical equipment to the Test and Tag desk next to the Info Office Friday morning for approval. You may NOT operate any electrical equipment without official testing and tagging. Please keep the tag on for any future events and to comply with your local council requirements. No double adaptors/power boards allowed as this will short circuit the entire stand block’s power – please be conscious that this will impact your neighbours too.
If you require first aid assistance, please notify any of the event security or event staff who will be able to assist.
