Fernando is a professional event photographer based in Melbourne who has a passion for capturing those unique candid moments. Whilst training as a graphic artist Fernando was formally introduced to the wonders of photography, quickly realising he enjoyed composing images out of everyday things.
Since then he has literally had a camera by his side for the best part of 10 years, shooting a variety of events, people and places – some which include: end of year graduate exhibitions for graphic design, visual art and multimedia university students, behind-the-scenes of a community television series, performing bands, charity events and fundraisers, awards ceremonies, art exhibitions, real estate and product shots.

Fernando was introduced to the Rites of Passage Festival through Glenn Todd, the founder and director of Dvize Creative - a Melbourne based web design and development agency established in 2000. Passionate about sustainable design, Glenn is the founder of Bindarri, an online magazine and directory that supports and promotes not only the arts, design and other creative industries, but also how they can foster positive social and environmental change.
