what are the dates for the exhibition?
 
27th 28th and 29th April 2012
 
 
what are the hours for the exhibition?
 
friday 27th April : 1pm – 10pm
 
saturday 28th April : 12pm – 10pm
 
sunday 29th April : 12pm – 7pm
 
 
how do I buy a ticket?
 
one day tickets can be purchased through greentix online or purchased at the door on the days of the event. Three day passes will only be made available online
 
 
will there be eftpos available for tickets at the door?
 
yes! EFTPOS will be available for tickets at the door and as an option at the merchandise booth.
 
 
can I buy a ticket on the day I visit?
 
only one day tickets can be purchased at the door on all three days of the event
 
 
how much do tickets cost?
 
the cost is $27.50 inc. gst + booking fee for an adult one day ticket. Please see the ticket page for other types of tickets available
 
 
are children permitted into the exhibition?
 
children under the age of 10 years are free and all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
 
 
who can buy concession?
 
accepted concession cards are: carer card, commonwealth seniors card, health care card, pension card, australian student card, veterans’ affairs card and victorian seniors card. photo ID is required for all concession entry.
 
 
can I access cash-out facilities or an ATM inside the venue?
 
no! the closest cash out facilities are at the museum forecourt located in the building adjacent to the Royal Exhibition Building
 
 
is there a secure place to park disability mobility vehicles?
 
yes! ticketing staff or security will be able to assist with the safe storage of mobility vehicles.
 
 
will there be good access for guide dogs?
 
guide dogs are more than welcome to assist people with vision disabilities and staff will more than willing to assist with water for guide dogs if required.
 
 
what about companion card holders?
 
rites of passage festival is a member of the companion card which promotes the right of people with a disability, who require a companion, to fair ticketing at victorian events and venues.
 
 
can I enter more than once with my ticket?
 
provided that your wristband is still sufficiently secured around your wrist.

can I take photographs, sketch or paint?
 
the rites of passage team believes in the freedom of self expression through all forms of art. all we ask is that you please have the appropriate respect for the exhibiting artists and their clients when taking photographs.
